One for Collectors! - Commodore 64-C 'Drean' Ultra Rare from Commodore Argentinian - RAREIn Argentinia, the Commodore C64 was sold under the name "Drean". The company Drean bought parts from Commodore and built computers out of them to avoid import costs. Looks to be very original parts - 326298 Rev A motherboard with gold pin ceramic dRam - 86 / 87 chips apart from early PLA and modern.

On the motherboard you will find a MOS 6510 processor, RAM / ROM memory, MOS 6572 VIC-II video chip, MOS 6581 SID sound chip and twice a MOS 6526 CIA. The Drean C64 was made by the Argentina company Drean. Drean assembled the Commodore C64 by importing parts (motherboard, keyboard) an making there own parts.

Drean, according to Pablo (Trincavelli), is an Argentinian company (still in business today, visit their Spanish-language website) that then, as now, made the majority of its revenue on production of home appliances and electronics. Unlike many of the South American clone computers, Drean's line of Commodores was created with the full approval.
